I have a question: People here seem to love living in Europe and other areas outside the United States. Do people always go home? In other words, as someone here decided to make their home outside the United States permaneantly. Or is that a bad idea?

A lot of people DO come back for various reasons...family, money, friends, school, maybe because they are restless and want to travel to more new places or maybe just to relax and recover from months of adventure!

But when i was abroad i definitely met a lot of people who pretty much moved abroad permanently.

So no, people dont always go home. It is not a bad idea to stay abroad, as long as you are happy with your decision, and figure out all the logistics of living and working and visa/citizen stuff.

A lot of us are still too restless to settle down anywhere right now, and return to the US as a homebase to kick off the next adventure... Wink
