Difficult to accurately measure something so subjective as a feeling like happiness. How do you create an objective, unbiased standard for that?

Since this new book touches on charitable giving, I have a question about Mr. Brooks previous book, "Who Really Cares?"

What is the total amount of charitable giving for all liberals? and the number of liberals studied?

What is the total amount of charitable giving for all conservatives? and the number of conservatives studied?

Not the average amounts.
